Amelia County Parks and Recreation proudly sponsors the Amelia County Dixie Softball League which is sanctioned by our governing body, Dixie Softball, Inc (DSI).    

Amelia's league has just under 200 player participants annually and has had teams consistently win at the District and State level and has had team in the World Series!  While learning the game and the focus on developing strong players and athletes is a primary goal, Amelia's program is also proud to offer a fun and accepting environment where players of all skill levels and backgrounds are encouraged to participate, practice good sportsmanship and build friendships.  

Dixie Softball is organized based on age and each division is assigned based on league age.  At this time, Amelia County Dixie Softball does NOT permit players to play outside of their league age division.  Fall ball is not sanctioned by Dixie, however Amelia County's local league follows Dixie rules during the fall ball season.
