2024 Fall Season

Amelia County Softball Fall Ball registration is open! Sign up today and pay $50 online by September 15!

Heres what you need to know about Fall ball:

  • Games will begin on Sunday, September 27 and run through November 3.
  • Players registered on time will receive a team jersey
  • There will be no opening ceremony or team photos during the Fall season.
  • We DO typically have a float in the Homecoming Parade, please mark your calendar for October 3
  • Practice nights will be determined once teams and coaches are assigned. Practices are typically held during the week, in Amelia from 6-8 pm.
  • Players will travel to play and compete against counties in the surrounding area. Amelia County is part of the Dixie District 5 area which includes: Amelia, Buckingham, Cumberland, Fluvanna, Goochland and Powhatan. We also play Prince Edward and Nottoway.
  • The Dixie age cut-off is the actual age of a player on December 31 of the previous year. For Fall, players typically play in the age group they will play in the Spring. EXAMPLE A: A player who is ten (10) years of age on December 31 of the previous year, shall have a division age of ten (10) and will play Angels. If you have any questions, please contact me directly.

PLEASE NOTE: When you login/create an account, your player will automatically be placed into the correct age division based on the birth date you provide - you do not have to try to figure it out!

Division by Age:
Sweetees: 4-6
Darlings: 7-8
Angels: 9-10
Ponytails: 11-12
Belles: 13-15
Debs: 16-19

Fall Ball is not sanctioned by our Dixie Franchise, however we play by Dixie rules. If you are interested in coaching, please complete the Volunteer section of your registration form!
